Great care that starts before you get in the chair.

From your very first visit, Dr. Kay will be there to listen, answer your questions and make you comfortable. Together, you’ll be able to discuss your concerns, treatment goals, dental history and your family dentist’s objectives.

Dr. Kay will then do a thorough dental examination and explain in clear terms what your condition is and what your treatment options are. A full report and copies of any x-rays – as well as ongoing updates – will be sent to your dentist to ensure you always receive the highest level of care.

You’ll have email and cell phone access to Dr. Kay, too, so that should you ever have any concerns, you can contact him or a member of his team. And, after your procedure is completed, he’ll call you to follow up and make sure your post-op recovery is progressing as expected.

No referral is needed. To book an appointment or for a second opinion on a diagnosis, call (416) 481-1179 to set up a consultation.

Implant technology has greatly advanced in recent years resulting in reduced discomfort and faster healing times – in fact, as little as two months.

In some cases, a tooth can be extracted and replaced with an implant in the same visit. Upon examination, we’ll let you know if you’re a candidate for our “tooth in a day” approach.

Dr. Kay incorporates digital dentistry into his practice. Old impression materials, often are very uncomfortable and known to trigger gagging, have been replaced with a digital wand that comfortably scans your mouth. Digital implant scans are provided to your dentist, saving you from multiple appointments.

When it comes to bone grafting, in most cases, bone no longer needs to be harvested from other areas of your body. New research suggests pre-packaged bone graft material produces the same quality results.
