Our Team

Susan, Receptionist

I have worked in dental offices since 2004. What I enjoy about my job is connecting with people and helping them improve their oral health. I hope I can make a difference by making your dental treatment more comfortable and pleasant and create an environment where you feel you can trust your health to my care.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, eating out and traveling when I can.

Elvira, Receptionist

I have a background in Psychology from my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and in Education from my graduate studies at the University of Ottawa.
I truly enjoy the daily interactions with the familiar faces of long-term patients, as well as getting to know the fresh faces that continually come through our doors. It is wonderful to get to know a little bit about each person and help them through their periodontal treatment.
In my spare time I enjoy leading an active lifestyle, striving for a good work life balance. I am also a certified yoga instructor and love to practice in my own space or outdoors.

Violet , Receptionist

I have been in the dental field since 1995 and started working as a front desk receptionist in 2003. I get satisfaction in assisting and helping with the administrative aspect of our patients’ dental treatment in order for them to focus on their dental health/needs and leave the necessary paperwork in our hands. It is with great pride to be a part of Dr. Kay’s team because we all work together to give our patients nothing but stellar service.
My family and I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, camping, bingewatching tv series and travelling.

Anna, Dental Hygienist

After graduating from the Dental Hygiene Program at George Brown College in 1998, I continued to expand my experience working at periodontal and general dentistry practices. My experience also includes working as a clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry program at the University of Toronto.
I have been part of an amazing team at Dr. Kay’s periodontal clinic since 2005. I enjoy helping patients achieve optimal oral health and educating them about continuously evolving dental treatments available. It is important to me that they feel comfortable during treatment and leave satisfied after each appointment.
As a tennis mom, I spend my free time with my family promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, filled with sports and well-balanced nutrition.

Deborah, Dental Hygienist

I have worked at Yonge Eglinton Periodontics as a dental hygienist since 2004 and have been in the dental profession since the late 1990s. I spend most of my time working in education as a clinical instructor at George Brown College, Durham College and University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.
My goal is to provide quality hygiene care while creating a connection with my patients.  In my spare time, I’m working on my adult education degree. I also enjoy travelling, yoga and spending time with family.

Reeshma, Dental Hygienist

As a 1991 graduate of the Dental Hygiene program, it has been my joy to meet new people and be involved in their oral and total health care plan.
My dental hygiene journey began with general practice but continued with periodontal specialty practice from 1993. This is complimented with clinical instruction at University of Toronto for third year dental students.
In our spare time, my family and I love watching movies, playing cards and travelling.

Jay, Dental Hygienist

I’ve been privileged to work with Dr. Kay since 2006. I trained in Dental Hygiene and Restorative Dental Hygiene at George Brown College and have worked in the field since 1998. What I enjoy most about what I do is earning my patients’ trust and educating and equipping them to better manage their oral health. I also appreciate working with a great dental team.
In my spare time I enjoy the company of family and friends, travel, outdoor activities and food!

Carmen, Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant for 28 years and have worked with Dr. Kay for 11 of those years. I love working in a specialty practice because it enables me to learn so much more about the field and see such a wonderful change in patients from the time they come in for the initial consultation to the final outcome when the treatment is completed.
In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing, baseball, skiing, exercising, and most of all spending time with my family and friends.

Eluna, Dental Assistant

What I enjoy most about being a dental assistant is being chairside and helping with procedures. I get a lot of satisfaction from helping people get their smiles back and regain their confidence.
I love the way patients show their appreciation when they leave – some even give us a hug! This lets me know they’re happy with their treatment, which is so important to me.
When not at the office, I like spending time with my family, going for bike rides, camping, fishing and doing photography.

Anna, Dental Assistant

To be involved in our patients’ oral health gives me great joy to have chosen this field. I love seeing our patients very happy and satisfied with the treatment they have received, both on a dental and personal level. We see our patients like family, we treat them to the best of our ability and they leave with smiles on their faces (yes, even after surgeries).
In my spare time, I spend it with family and friends. We love eating, travelling, watching movies and singing karaoke together.
